This policy explains which cookies lankio.it uses, when they are set, and how you can change your choice.

How consent works

On your first visit a banner asks whether you allow analytics. Analytics cookies are set only if you choose “Accept” or switch analytics on in “Preferences”. Rejecting, or closing the banner, keeps them off, and the website works the same either way. Your choice is remembered for six months, after which you will be asked again.

Technical cookies (no consent needed)

lankio_consent stores your cookie choice and expires after six months. NEXT_LOCALE is a session cookie, set only when you view the site in a language different from your browser’s, so the site can keep showing your chosen language. Neither cookie is used to track you.

Analytics cookies (only with your consent)

If you accept analytics, Google Analytics 4 is loaded and sets the first-party cookies _ga and _ga_<ID>, which can last up to two years. They are used only for aggregated statistics about how the website is used. Google Signals and ad personalisation are turned off. Before you consent, no Google Analytics script is loaded and no request is sent to Google.

Embedded YouTube videos

Videos on this website are hosted on YouTube. Until you press play, only a preview image stored on lankio.it is shown and nothing is loaded from YouTube. When you press play, the video loads from youtube-nocookie.com, YouTube’s privacy-enhanced mode, and YouTube (Google) may then set cookies or use similar storage on your device under Google’s own privacy policy. Playing a video is your choice; the rest of the website works without it.

Changing or withdrawing consent

Use “Cookie settings” at the bottom of any page, or the button below, to change your choice at any time. If you withdraw consent, Google Analytics is disabled straight away and its cookies on this website are deleted. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings.
