Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal data lankio.it collects, why, and what rights you have under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Data controller

The data controller is Shehan Janith Hettiarachchi, operating as Lankio Digital Solutions, Italy. Contact: info@lankio.it.

Contact form

When you send an inquiry, the website processes your name, email address, optional company name, the type of project, optional timeline, preferred reply language and your message. This data is used only to reply to you and, if you choose to work together, to prepare a proposal (legal basis: pre-contractual steps at your request, Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).

Email delivery

Messages are delivered by email through Resend, a transactional email provider acting as a data processor. Your message is sent to the studio’s inbox and a confirmation is sent to the address you provide. Inquiry emails are kept only as long as needed to handle your request and any resulting working relationship.

Analytics

With your consent, the website uses Google Analytics 4 to understand in aggregate how pages are used, for example which pages are visited and from which country. Google Analytics processes data such as your IP address and device information and sets cookies. It is loaded only after you accept analytics in the cookie banner (legal basis: consent, Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), with Google Signals and ad personalisation turned off. You can withdraw consent at any time from “Cookie settings”; withdrawal does not affect processing carried out before it.

Hosting and server logs

The website is hosted on Vercel. Like any web server, the hosting infrastructure processes technical data such as IP addresses in server logs to deliver pages and keep the service secure (legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Embedded videos (YouTube)

When you choose to play a video, your browser connects to YouTube, a service operated by Google, which then processes data such as your IP address and device information under Google’s privacy policy. Before you press play, no data is sent to YouTube.

International transfers

Some providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where this happens, transfers rely on safeguards recognised by the GDPR, such as the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or Standard Contractual Clauses.

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct or delete your data, restrict or object to its processing, and receive it in a portable format. Write to info@lankio.it. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian data protection authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali).
